Recruitment through the use of a mobile device is mobile recruitment. A well-functioning and easy to use mobile experience helps candidates to find and apply for jobs. This mobile experience covers the entire process, from job postings to the actual application process, including the mandatory document upload; all of these are mobile-friendly.

Böhm (2013) defines mobile recruitment as “any organizational information provided for or delivered to a mobile device in order to attract and hire potential applicants”

Technology has changed the world entirely. It affects almost every aspect of our daily lives. People are looking for jobs online, but it’s not enough anymore to just have a website with a list of job postings and a contact email. So the mobile recruitment is a latest trend in HRM.

The recruitment procedure consists of different activities, some of these activities are not crucially affect by smart mobile device. Organizational information can be delivered to mobile devices in several ways, but not all of them have been influenced by the usage of smart mobile devices. Some of the below methods were already common long before the widespread of smartphones. Those are Phone calls or texts are used to deliver information to potential candidates. But nowadays smart mobile devices provide a wide range of previously unavailable services to both recruiters and candidates.

Text messages are so successful is probably because it is less interrupting than a phone call, but still personal enough to be read.

In Department of Animal Production and Health most of the recruitment process is done through government. Government is adopting to new era of technology and taken the steps forward in mobile recruitment process. Interviews are done physically but most of the other process is mobile friendly

A mobile recruitment strategy requires some careful understanding. It is an absolute must in any digital recruitment plan. Not just because of today’s tech-savvy, mobile orientated workforce, but also because it simply is the way forward. Recruiters who haven’t upgrade their job hiring process for mobile recruiting risk missing out on top talent.
